I took this picture of Halsema highway while on a trip going to Mankayan, Benguet from Baguio City with my family.

When we are on the road,
we see and meet different people,
different races speaking different languages.

We smile with each other,
even though we have different cultures,
you didn’t realize, that smile can be the bandage

of the deep cut brought upon by discrimination,
of the gap between generations.

When we are on the road
and lost along the way
we communicate to understand.

We talk with hand gestures
to emphasize  what we mean
and that communication can be the hand

to reach out, to let other’s know that no one is above
one another, we’re all connected with ONE LOVE.
