Poetry and Photography

I took this photo one afternoon on my way home, I was captivated by the sunset peeping behind the fog covering it. Taken at Baguio City, Philippines

I look at you
your tears have dried,
but left a stain
that marks the pain;

Colors of red
after you cried,
orange and yellow
start to glow;

Go on and rest,
sleep with the tides,
I’ll pour down the rain,
let your sorrows drain;

I will cover you,
let your rays hide,
fade in slow,
life is better tomorrow…
